What is Rucio?
Rucio is a data management platform built by CERN to help researchers around the world organize, manage, and access their data. Rucio was initially created to support the ATLAS Experiment at CERN but now supports several Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiments and other scientific communities.

Rucio’s community consists of several large institutions and experiments such as ATLAS, CMS, Escape, Belle II, and Dune. The software framework enables these organizations to easily communicate and share data regardless of the data center or data storage provider used.
